I tried playing the Futurama slot machine, but all it did was tell me to shut up and give it my money.

The thing with this show, essentially with any "sports related" drama series, is that we do want the show to be consistent in terms of pacing and statistics. Friday Night Lights was the exception rather than the rule. And HBO's attempt at a comedy-drama, First and 10, was so painful to watch, HBO doesn't even offer

They haven't finished cleaning out the vault for Tupac, Marvin Gaye or Jimi Hendrix yet.

And yet, Roosevelt Franklin is still looking for a day job.

There was a reference in episode three about Ginny's game against the Cardinals being her third start. So she pitched twice in the pilot and once in episode two… and if you count episode three, then she's on her fourth start. Unless somewhere one of those pitching excursions was in relief … okay, it's a nitpick, but

And you couldn't find room on this list for her cover of the Banana Splits theme song from the Saturday Morning TV album?

I heard someone bought advance tickets to see this movie, but when asked how he would pay for it, he simply said, "Bork! Bork! Bork!!"

So let's see. Wyatt meets up with a reporter that reminds him of his lost love, he rescues her from the Hindenburg almost crashing, and eventually has to watch her die later in the episode, if for no other reason than her being alive after her "historic" death would cripple the timeline. This is so close to The City

Instead of finding Chuck Barris replacements … why the hell can't we just get Chuck Barris to host it?

Pamela Sue Martin fights Emma Samms for the right to be Blake Carrington's true daughter. Also as a separate catfight - Catherine Oxenberg battles Karen Cellini for the right to be that other Blake Carrington sibling or something…

Quixotic is worth more points in Scrabble - you can get up to 383 points if you put the Q on a triple word score, the C on another triple word score, and the X on a triple letter score. It's definitely worth more than Gilliamesque.

She's a starter. I think she's the #5 starter, she's pitched two games and won one, but because she had a rough outing in her debut game (didn't get out of the first inning), her ERA is somewhere around 12. Yeah, I'm watching this show way too much.

Okay - I saw episode 2 on my "On Demand" channel and instead of going to the previews, it simply listed the credits and outro theme music.

One thing that still bugs me about this show. The San Diego Padres are in the National League. They've played other teams from the National League on this show, there hasn't been an episode featuring interleague play. The National League requires pitchers to hit unless they're playing in American League parks

Because you know it's all about that freebase, bout that freebase, no trouble…

Surprisingly, nobody who wrote the Voyagers! TV series is planning on suing. That's probably because Jon-Erik Hexum's dead, and Meeno Peluce's career is just as dead.

No sign of Curious George in Boston? Seriously?

A Cricket in Times Square isn't on this map? Come on, it's in Times Square and it's a freakin' cricket!

I'll give this show a chance, but for God sakes the episode felt like I was watching a 60-minute promo for Fox's sports channel. I mean, the upside of that is people get to see how smart and funny Katie Nolan is, but the downside is that people get to hear the flatulent blowhard that is Colin Cowherd…

Call me when Winsor McKay is the guest animator for the couch gag.
