Actually...the game was released with an internal tracker that was, in my experience, very accurate and relatively easy to use. With it removed the game was rather useless, unless you live in a densely populated area and even then it is frustrating. From your comments it is easy to tell that you do not play the game…

Basically the other incubators are limited use so it makes sense.

Since there’s no official guide, and considering that the button is available as soon as you take over the first gym, I’m not sure why you think that a gym needs to be held for 21 hours before you can gain the rewards (FYI, I’ve not seen a single gym last more than a few hours at best anyway.)
