Didn't know Trump read The A.V. Club.

ayy lmao

Probably not an idiot. Let's just say… not as politically savvy. You'd think that if he wants to be Warden of the North he'd keep Sansa close to himself.

Exactly. It's a major deviation. "Well, Sansa needs to get to Winterfell so she can get raped, I guess we'll make Littlefinger an idiot."

I never said she can't get raped. Just have it make sense. Petyr would never hand Sansa to the Boltons. It seems they went out of their way, betraying characters motivations, just to have Sansa in WInterfell so she can get raped. It doesn't make any sense.

That rape won't have any impact whatsoever on her character; I guarantee you. The same happened with Cersei last season. People expected a reaction, the subject brought up in conversation… anything! It wasn't even acknowledged. Not by her or by Jaime.

It wasn't a straight line, though. Sansa's development comes slow but steady. And that's the whole point. book!Sansa puts it very well, "Courtesy is a lady's armor." book!Sansa, even though she's not wild and assertive as Arya, or fearless like Daenerys, she has her own way of being strong while going through horrible

Jeyne didn't have Sansa's arc in the books. If they already showed Sansa starting to be a player, they can't have her get raped; it doesn't make sense for her character development. The problem is the showrunners want to have the cake and eat it too.
