My girlfriend played WoW for months just to earn a pet battle perk that would let her transform into her pet. She was a hunter with a seagull pet and a seagull battle pet, disguised as a seagull. So a one player flock.

Some people don’t like to be wrong and take any challenge to their beliefs by anyone as a personal challenge to their intelligence or value as a person. It’s stupid and childish, but I don’t think it bespeaks being un-“woke” so much as immature, insecure, or damaged.
