I guess the question is how many decent gluten free, thick crust frozen pizzas there are out there. If I were gluten-intolerant, something pretty damn close to the real thing might be worth it, even if it is a little pricey. 

Celiac here. Gluten is just the protein part of wheat, barley, or rye. Well-processed wheat starch is gluten free and is used regularly in Europe where they have much, MUCH higher standards for gluten content in GF food. If you have a wheat allergy, you’re hosed, but depending on who did the wheat starch…

For my circle of friends (we are going into our 40's) we’re mostly angry at the way we’ve been manipulated to A) wanting to look like her, B) then becoming jealous of her, C) then laughing at her downfall, only to them D) repeat with someone else. I’ve known a small circle of my friends going back to elementary school…

I mean, it IS a fad, in that there are a lot of people out there who are convinced that gluten is the root of all diet evil - but celiac disease, wheat allergies and gluten intolerance are also real things. And access to better gluten-free options is definitely good for those people!

It was a shitty analogy in the movie, and it’s worse for this. The risk is much, much greater for space travel in general (versus essentially any terrestrial travel) and it gets worse the further you travel. I get they’ll all be volunteers, but Musk is being awfully cavalier with human lives for his vanity project.

I think him doing it is the problem. NASA really doesn’t want to let people die going to space, but understands there are risks. A billionaire CEO with a not so great track record with how he treats employees is a bit different.

I am so glad that Tower of Terror is still in Orlando and all three of my kids have had the pleasure/horror of riding it.
