Yeah. This. And really... now that you can get OBD scanners for just a few bucks that work with your phone and download code details from the web, somewhat basic modern engines like this one are far less intimidating. The more advanced ones still are, but this isn’t one of them.

Jeep Wrangler. It’s a body-on-frame 4x4 with solid axles front and rear and a longitudinal-mount engine and transmission. The engine tech is most definitely 21st-century but the rest of it is as classic as they come.
