Though the going theory is that everything we saw in that show was a fever dream / fictionalized holonovel written by Riker, so can we really trust his achievements as-seen?

E21 love today? Yay for a day of E21 love.

A favorite game to play at the vintage car races we go to is “Date or Daughter.” Can be quite challenging.

Same here. All I need is some slight practicality. Just need to drive a wife and a dog around. Dog transport precludes a trunk.

Can’t help but agree. I’ve actually gone and (gasp!) subscribed to a print magazine to get my car writing fix. Granted, it helps that ex-jalops Sam Smith and Zack Bowman write features with Peter Egan popping up often. I guess jalopnik has trouble sustaining that sort of talent, ironically enough.

A decent amount of my youth was spent being driven around laying down in the cargo area of a Bugeye with my head poking out between the seats. Also the same layout in a C2 Corvette.

Welp, that’s the funniest thing I’m gonna see today.

Equally long..when it’s cold out. The softer rubber compound in winter tires along with the larger tread blocks are going to wear down super fast in the heat of summer.

Totally different Alice’s Restaurant than I thought you were talking about.

Shattered Glass?

Suddenly I have a need for a NY plate. Never thought the day would come..

That and handing larger amounts of money to politicians during votes. Literally.

I don’t think they’re instructions for now, I think they’re advice for after-the-fall sort of things. Given the physical data attached along with their material selection, I get the idea that they were installed to be used as a reference in case MAD didn’t work out for everyone and those that survived needed some help

Nope. Outside Boston, actually.

There’s one parked outside my condo right now, what a coincidence!

No, all stock. I’m just a sucker for Mariner Blue and BRG.

I did. Twice!

Loving the cartoonish “imminent death ahead” truck slow down sign.

Agreed. Also a matter of timing and perception. I say it’s like driving in a video game. F-Zero in the tunnels, Driver on the surface streets, dodging moving vans and college students. Plus there’s driving down Storrow on summer nights with the top down, tough to beat that.

As an owner of a 2006 GTI and a 1992 Miata, I must agree with that sentiment.
