I don’t use it that much anymore but Here Maps (called, Here We Go) were very robust option for driving, it’s still much superior in terms of offline maps compared to Google, it let’s me clearly download an entire region or country beforehand without any hassle

Or they could....like...pay the writers and actors?

Yes, what GRRM is showing here is two things:

The laws against sympathy strikes were passed by Thatcher’s government. The Labour Party were in power from 1997 to 2010 but didn’t repeal those laws.

Kamala the comics character was a fan of all the superheroes, had an early adventure with Wolverine and did Champions with teen Cyclops. So Iman the superfan gets to write Kamala the superfan getting to join the X-Men. I’ve got high hopes. The mutants could use a bit of embiggened sunshine right now.

Really happy for her. One of the most delightful things about the comic - and later, the show - was how it captured the teen experience (and very much the teen to immigrant parents in Jersey experience) without resorting to the old well-worn clichés. If Vellani can bring her real lived experience to that, and merge it

no criticism here. the promoters hired outspoken people to perform, and then acted surprised when they spoke out.

You can’t make music with just composers, and you can’t make movies without actors. Respect all who work to produce art.

“We can’t make movies without actors.  We can’t even market movies without actors.  But we don’t want to pay the actors.  And don’t even get me started on writers.”

Pretty common in the UK for the last decade or so for a band of higher price seats in the centre, often larger more comfortable seats with more legroom. Started off as a free online booking bonus/premium seat as traditional theatre seats were first replaced with armchair like seats (often with electric reclining), but

The screaming baby sitting next to you will help put you in the “fuck it, nuke everything” mood.

Much less one who actually knows the answer to that question.

Well, you learn something new every day, I would never guessed that based on Rian Johnson's appearance.

Not true. Lots of salespeople retire off the long tail of their residual commissions for life and liability insurance sales.

“Under anti-strike laws in the UK, striking actors could be sued by Warner Bros. or Legendary Television to be forced back on set.”

I mean say what you will about the modern AV Club, they never ran a piece praising Nazi terror gangs.

a lying tabloid hack rage that exists to spread hate and that people should stop using it as a source for anything

In many ways, Theater Camp is the anti-blockbuster. It’s not trying to make a big statement or win any prestigious awards, and while the cast and crew would probably be thrilled if their funny little film made some money (and with such a small budget, it wouldn’t take much to at least break even), it’s pretty obvious

I loved it. I find it hilarious that Raimi introduced a bunch of fan-service characters only to kill them off in brutal ways immediately. Why even watch a Raimi film if you’re not looking for stuff like that?
