True—a lot of people may not have access to AMC, especially outside the U.S. I watch it on AMC, but still buy each season on Blu-Ray as it’s released, because I want to support it and will definitely rewatch.
I stuck with it through the dark days to the Winter Soldier reveal despite thinking about abandoning it, so I can’t answer for those that left. There may just be too much quality TV out there for people to circle back to anything, I guess.
Nice to hear this is actually a good movie. The trailer made it look pretty derivative, in terms of the plot.
For me personally it was more of a crying wolf thing. I gave up after about 3/4 episodes but saw a bunch of people saying it had“got good” towards the middle of the season, so I slogged through even more and couldn’t see any improvement.
Then they promise it “really got good” at the end of season 1, so I skipped ahead…

As the story said the “getting good” was a gradual thing. And even picking up from S1 E17 on, the people expecting a straight-up superhero action show like Arrow or Supergirl were still disappointed that SHIELD never totally went that direction.

I started listening to a lot more K-Pop since you’ve started posting these and I actually stumbled upon Boombayah by Blackpink a while back and really dig it. The English is a little cringey but I really enjoy the song overall.
