I’d drop Demon Slayer and put Attack on Titan on that anime list. DS is highly overrated IMO and as someone who didn’t completely gel with AoT the first few seasons, Seasons 3 and 4 have been absolute masterpieces and put it in my top 5 all time. 

That was before people fell in love with the gacha mechanics!

I hope Unsighted sold well enough to keep their small, 2-person studio afloat. That game was a real gem and I need more! Also surprised Loop Hero did t make the cut. Switch is perfect for that game.

Oh they certainly did, but gamers should’ve known better than to let the marketing team sweet talk them.

Arcane not being on this list is practically an invalidation. The animation alone deserves recognition, let alone being an extremely rare adaptation of a video game that’s actually good, but I guess it’s not an HBO prestige drama or a quirky comedy. These writers certainly have a “type”.

I freaking love Unsighted! That game and Death’s Door have been getting snubbed bad on this site. Both are better then Sable imo. 

I think just about everyone is crossing their fingers and waiting for a port. I’m honestly trying to avoid too much information in case it does get re-released. 

Why would there be barristers in LA Law? Did that show take a left turn somewhere?

Nice to see someone played Fuga around here! There were a ton of great indies this year and it seems like not much of staff played that many except Luke. Though John die mention. Inscription. No one had Death’s Door or Unsighted in there Top 10?

Try Tohou Luna Nights if you liked Deetlit. Ladybugs previous metroidvania. Just as charming and fun. 

Love that game and the previous Ladybug game Touhou Luna Nights. They’re  both fun, short, very well-designed metroidvanias with a ton of charm.

There’s a cheez late game where you can farm levels super fast. I went up like 20 levels in under an hour. It’s the bottom floor of the tower that’s part of the quest Farewell, Mage. Just farm the birds down there and you’ll be lvl 80 in like 20 mins. 

Sad to see so many great indies getting snubbed on these lists so far. Where’s Death’s Door? Unsighted? Kena? Loop Hero? Curse of the Dead Gods? Genesis Noir? You guys were gushing over Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon just the other day. 

Do the original VN creators or the anime studio not have any copyrights to the characters? The Carmella Girls are clearly the same as the original characters. Also, always fun to see a game about banging lolis spawn a popular, innocuous meme. What’s next? The Boku no Pico shuffle?
