There's also the statement of the person who shot the video. Presumably they saw bad behavior prior to the start of filming.

Truth. Too many teens in M3s and various AMGs (the cars are always black) driving like complete assholes in Glendale.

Ow wow. This is the 134 West on the North side of Eagle Rock. My house is just downhill to the left of camera. Assuming this jerk wanted to be on the right so he could move onto the 2, he had at least 1 mile before he needed to be there. Plenty of time to safely move to a passing lane and back.

I don't feel like Valve owes us anything. If they make a game that is interesting to me (and they've got a great track record of doing that) I'll buy it when it's released. I don't need advanced hype. I don't need years of screenshots. I don't need a list of features that invariably aren't delivered on 100%. I

I'm not sure how you are required to purchase anything. In any case, it's strange that you take objection to businesses trying to make money just because you're not interested in the product they sell.

There's nothing to prevent an AV system from having Carplay, Android Auto, and any other system that may be devised. They are merely specs for integrating with a device and don't dictate what the head unit can do outside of that particular experience. It actually seems like there will be plenty of dual-use systems

Thanks for the correction. As I suspected, I was full of wrong. It's one of my special skills!

The light behind his eyes seems to have burned out. Maybe he just needs a reboot.

I am embarrassed that I secretly want to be *a* guy with a G-Wagen. But then I look around and remind myself who the guys are that actually buy them and that reminds me why I keep it a secret. I try no to let the social associations of vehicles color my opinion of them, but that's a tough order in the case of that

Hang on there. It's perfectly possible to want the E63 because it's a great car and not give a damn what other people think about it. To call it pretentious means you think his motivation is disingenuous, because the car...is just a car. It can't be pretentious.

No one in their right mind thinks of a racing team, much less an F1 team, as any kind of investment.

I'm pretty sure Bernie prefers that all F1 transaction be in 1970s krugerands, just to keep things nice and villainy.

Like a leaf on the wind.

I'm torn between my desire to laugh at the dumb cop and my realization that if I were in his place, it would only be a matter of time before I ended up doing the same thing. I get absent-minded at time.

Yes, you are right. I thought - and I may be wrong about this - that even though the US uses different measurements, that the system was referred to as the Imperial system of measurements, even in the US.

No, no, no. Your lot came up with "soccer" (a strange shortening of the "association" part of Association Football), sold the name to the rest of the world and then promptly stopped using that name. Don't blame us for your inability to commit to a name you yourselves coined.

Sedans are really convenient. You can use them to tell people that 1) you won't be doing anything adventurous this weekend and 2) you are someone that can help them re-evaluate their current insurance needs.

Nope. Or at least, not if you care about handling. SUVs have truck suspensions, which is great if you actually are moving truly heavy loads or need a bigger suspension travel distance (you know, offroad). But for on-road driving dynamics, SUVs kinda suck. Making them handle better is all about counteracting their

There are very few Android features I envy. That one just went to the top of my list.

Well, sure. Everybody has their own great idea to improve upon the spec. If your phone doesn't work with their unique implementation, that's just because your phone isn't advanced enough and not because an engineer doesn't understand the meaning of the word "standard".
