Tom has now been flagged for spreading misinformation and will not be catching anymore trains.

I make my Margaritas with whiskey, bitters, sugar, and a bit of orange rind.  Call me old fashioned.

This would not affect my vote but it does make me worry about his train of thought? I mean how did he come to that guess? Let’s see the word sounds like it comes from a Romance language. Definitely sounds closer to Spanish or Italian than French or Romanian. And now that I think about it, it seems to have a culture

Being able to drink socially (or pretend to) is absolutely a skill that is highly sought after in political jobs. If you want Booker to be a back-office guy, sure, be a teetotaler, but Presidents have to mix it up with all types.

Sorry, this is just a lack of general awareness and curiosity. You don’t have to know everything about everything, but being able to communicate about subjects that you aren’t necessarily an expert in is a skill that is incredibly important for a politician (and many other social jobs).

yeah, this. 17-year-old me would have happily taken the 15-pack of Natty Ice or a couple 40s of Steel Reserve over anything like this.

Given the usually premium pricing on craft beers, I would expect teens to stick with the cheaper domestic beers like Natty Ice or the new-age wine coolers that Seagrams cranks out. Even if one of these milkshake IPAs are available to teens, paying $10 for a six pack instead of $14 for a 30 pack of Busch won’t happen

it’s a convenient neighborhood for getting to the Hill and prices aren’t as insane there.

Disagree. The Navy Yard is DC’s Williamsburg, basically the only authentic artist’s retreat in the city. It’s just a deeply human place.  Little confusion why AOC chose to make a home of it.  I like her more now.

Homophobic and racist attacks happen all the time, and they’re rarely committed by left-wing people. And let’s not pretend MAGA chuds are just peacefully going about in the world, expressing reasonable opinions: the news is full of these assholes attacking people - hell, the other day one of these upstanding citizens

Veep and Jackson are two different topics, but the headline makes no sense grammatically, no matter how you slice it. Either way the article comes off more as click-bait than informative…

The title is at least more clear than the first paragraph which somehow takes 1,000 words and like four awful and obfuscating jokes just to get to the damn release date.

This is the film that slammed at Sundance but Jackson’s family, ...”

But, but... Virginia is for Lovers!

I know, this article is such a buzzkill, surprised she didn’t kill a puppy and kitten when she got home just to make it a REALLY BAD article.

You are wrong, ma’am. OBJECTIVELY WRONG! These billboards are a wonderful cultural icon of I-95, and should be respected as much.

“using their marketing might to lie to people about Googles privacy policies.”

When i was a kid in elementary school, i remember kids having birthday parties at McDonalds. It was a legitimate place to have a kids party, several of my classmates had them there. Also Burger King, where you got a sweet cardboard crown. Does anyone else remember this?

Did not know that re useage of ‘committed suicide’ vs ‘death by suicide’. Thx for information.

It’s semantics, but ‘commited suicide’ should be avoided
