@mitch2117: People should. If you are getting paid to work 9-5 for example, you should leave at 5. Volunteering for the company won't win you any favors and will just lead to burnout.

@thisisasignin: Overtime would be considered hours above the standard workweek. However you may have to take an additional break if you are working around dinnertime, I'm not sure about that.

I tried a 4 day work week and it sucked. I didn't see my wife and kids in the morning (they were still sleeping) and it was practically the kids bedtime when I got home. Having an extra day off does not make up for not seeing them during the other 4 days. Maybe for a single person or someone with grown kids it might

I haven't used browser bookmarks since 2006 when I started using del.icio.us.

@cybrown: It seems out of line to me as well. It also seems like you are asking to get the job of note-taker dumped on you as well.

@cybrown: Agreed. It also seems like it would be pretty likely that you would become the designated note-taker from then on....

I use my tablet PC in meetings. I keep all of my notes in MS OneNote. I don't IM or anything else with it in meetings. It is strictly for notetaking and adding tasks into my Exchange to-do list. I was losing track of things when I kept things in dead-tree format. Now everything is in one place electronically

At work I check email pretty much as soon as it comes in unless I am out of the office. I check my RSS feeds about hourly.

I think that as with a lot of things people are resistant to change. In general people don't want to bother to take the extra few minutes to set up a system and use it. Once a system is in place and you are used to it you actually save time.

I've run Vista since the beta last summer, switching to Enterprise as soon as it was available. The only problems I has were when it was still in beta. Once I loaded the final release everything has been great. I haven't had any crashes or compatibility issues. It's been much better than XP ever was. I think people

I use my vacation time almost as fast as I earn it. There are certain times of year that vacation time use is not approved, but I don't have any problem using my time up.

This is ridiculous. Following this logic Google should have sued Apple over spotlight a long time ago.

I hate to bring work home with me. Sometimes after a bad day I prefer to take a longer route home or run an errand to have some a little extra time to defuse from work before going home to my family. If I get home too quickly I can wind up carrying my stress in with me. It is better to take the extra time to leave it

I love LastTab! But I have to give myself a big old *headslap* because I never used the ctrl-tab feature of it before. The reason I had it installed was I like to go to the last tab I had opened when I close a tab instead of just going to the one immediately to the left. Thanks for the tip!

Congrats!!

I have been very happy with using PDFCreator. My only problem has been the lack of Windows Vista support. Otherwise a great program.

@advilandy

My god people do we really need to start the "OMG!!!eleventy!!! They mentioned Vista again, what Microsoft whores the LH crew are" comments? If you see a Vista post and don't want to be bothered, guess what? You don't have to read it. Just kneel to your altar of Steve Jobs and STFU. I can't wait for sabertooth or
