Agreed. I have a Specially built JVC 47" that I got from 3ality digital here in Burbank.... It's amazing.
You have a choice to turn off the "Optimized (Dubois)" feature and choose "Full Color" if you click on the 3D menu. It's for those who are using red/blue glasses and desaturates the red and blue for easier watching. You can also choose side by side and watch on a 3D TV or crosseyed.

From what I understand, Apple's patent has it figured that it will just use a laser of some sort to project the images directly into your eye and onto the optic nerve.
