Never noticed that. Gonna rewatch it just for that, good find!

This is a remake of the 90s film, not La Jetee. La Jetee was an arthouse film with no moving parts, it was just a voice over and a collection of stills. The series has clearly taken almost everything it's using from the Gilliam film, including names, plot, setting, etc.

I didn't write it, but I did think it was a pretty cool read - if quite thorough. It's probably the only thing I like about Monopoly. Puerto Rico or Eclipse for the win.
