I don't think that SimCity will be pirated in any time soon; the game is to integrated with EA's servers to function properly disconnected. Its not impossible, but still improbable.

I think the game will feature more than one other language, probably several different other languages. If a person happen to know one, good for him/her, but that person wont understand them all.

I really hate those small, low budget, mini "TV"-shows that some low budget production company decided to spit out with a script some lazy screenwriter-wanna-be poorly whip together at 3am in some damp basement.

There's no Like/Plus button here, so instead; here is a agreeing comment instead.

To have Will Wright explaining his opinion about SimCity, is a bit like having Karl Marx explaining his opinion about communism or Richard S. Fuld, Jr. about capitalism. Especially since this is done by EA's and Maxis PR department.

The shooting parts wasn't supposed to be in the game at all from the beginning. They where just there so that EA's PR-office should be able to make their obligatory action advertisements.

I still love to play the second level, the one when you meet your sister inside the RP&A-building (The third skyscraper to the left). It was a great introduction to a game after the tutorial level. First the vista from the roof, then the sleek and ultra modern offices where you ran between floors in cramped corridors

I think Mirror's Edge had the best city in any game. It was so different from cities in other games in that way it is so bright and clean. No brown or blue filters, just bright sunshine, mostly.

If any publisher/developer would include the great strategists Generalolz, it would only be Paradox. For those who don't know, he was one of Cagliostroso's greatest heros, and would possibly become their next regent, if it hadn't come to his early departure during the 70-year war.

I recognized it, but confused it with SimCity 4. In retrospect; I don't know how I could do that.

Because gifs are mute repeat themselves. :D

And don't forget Ricochet, the pinnacle of their creations! ^^

There's literately someone ripping a mans head off just two posts above yours and I saw another man being ripped in half in the article. But your .gif is the most gruesome thing I've ever seen. And it only become worse watching it again and again, as I have done now while writing this message. I must stop now, cant

I remember about 15-20 years ago that every time me and my parents went past the clockmaker, I always forced my parents to wait while I watched a clock almost identical to this clock, but not made with Lego. It didn't matter how much I nagged, they never bought it. :'(

I have yet to see a AAA-game that don't have any micro transactions. There wouldn't be micro transactions if people didn't want them.

I think game developers, or at least the PR department, is developing a fetish for the style from the 80's. You know the one you always finds in the intro to movies on VHS cassettes.

Tell us how it went ^^

* I don't understand. What features have they been building around? Do you mean the region and the interconnectivity between cities? It's basically jut the same as in SimCity 4, but extended in some fields so that you can for example send a fire engine to help a neighbouring city.

* You do know that you can play a whole region privately, as in completely alone, without worrying about the emotional impact of other players?

Why can't you compare SimCity to WoW? Both are games that you can play solo, with friends and/or with strangers. Albeit they are different genres, they are still comparable. (Just the same way you can compare a horse and a F1-car. Both are used for racing). That's why I called SimCity a MMO-lite. It hasn't been
