Just watched it. Worst film of the year so far for me.

I had no idea there was such a term as this.
I think The Straight Story is absolutely brilliant, well worth checking out.
My job is to get old people in our retirement homes to play a more active role in the running of the organisation. But it's hard as the feckers are too busy either shagging one another or having major bust ups over rigged games of bingo. OK not exactly chasing dead mummies or going into space but still.
It's not Hughes' best (Planes, Trains for me) but it's still damn near perfect. If only they hadn't given Allison the makeover, it's a blotch on an otherwise excellent character driven film.
Over the Edge sounds intriguing, will try and dig it out from somewhere.
If The Visit is half as funny as The Happening then I'll make sure to check it out.
Looking forward to it. They sounded as great as ever when I seen them in 2012.
Not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not but I only really began to enjoy Friday Night Lights when the coach made that move. The characters and storylines resonated much more with me.
That's a shame.
As a Glaswegian visiting America some years ago most of the locals thought I was Irish. To be fair I think they only caught about 50% of what I was actually saying, maybe just 10% when I was drunk.
I love Laurel and Hardy.
"By the time we join our heroes at the zoo, Bill’s jealousy has curdled into a smug spite as he forces Virginia to fluff a gorilla. "
Ooh yeah I'm going to have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you there.
The Descent for me.
Interesting article.
I watched Pine Barrens again last night.
The finale summed up how I felt about the series overall - occasionally gripping, beautifully shot but unnecessarily overwrought and ultimately disappointing.
If anything I'm even more lost now as to what the hell is going on.
A film that haunted me on first viewing but didn't really hold up on repeat viewings.
