Was going to have a moan about borrowing story lines from Friends but it seems like many of you have already mentioned this (it's not even the good Friends, seasons 1-4 & 10 but the annoying 5-9 efforts).

Not a patch on previous weeks but still gave us some funny moments through the usual channels - Amy, Bernadette and occasionally Penny.

Shame this last series hasn't met the high standards of what has came before it and this last episode really didn't do the show justice. Still, it gave us a couple of wonderful moments, namely Glenn's farewell speech and Tucker's rather humble exit (superbly played as always by Capaldi).

Two superb episodes in a row. I loved that the Leonard and Penny story didn't really aim for any self examination or questioning of their relationship - just plenty of sex. Howard and Bernadette are a terrific comedy duo, line of the night had to be washing paint out my smurf for a month.

This was the subject for my dissertation at uni six or so years ago. Had a whale of a time dissecting many of the films mentioned though repeated viewings and 12,000 words later I have not been in any great rush to revisit them. Did enjoy this recap though.

Haters can keep on hating but I thought that was a terrific episode. The contest between the couples was entertaining throughout and Bernadette was as adorable as ever, even when flu ridden.

By the time it got to Emmanuelle in Space I felt they were milking the series dry.
