Nope, it just didn't work for me.
Nope, it just didn't work for me.
Great review of a dreadful finale.
You damn crazy Yanks, can't believe this is still going on.
'I don't know about you two but I had Lane' ha ha
"…some grumblings going around that the show has become wildly inconsistent (probably true)"
It really has. After last week's wonderful episode this felt decidedly average.
Looks like Chevy will be chased off the show anytime now.
Very surprised to see this only gaining a B. Thought that, on the whole, it was a well crafted and engaging episode. Granted Don's dream sequence felt a little mishandled but the Joan/Greg storyline, Peggy and Dawn's drunken sweaty chat and Sally's night terrors were all superbly done. And I have to say the most…
I have said in the last few weeks that since its return the show has left me a little hollow, it was great to have it back but I wasn't enjoying it as much as before, everything felt a little flat.
Bernadette's 2 minutes on screen were the highlight of another solid episode of the show. Would just like to see a little more progression with the show - Raj finally coming out, Penny doing some acting work, Howard's space story (what happened to that one?) - there are plenty avenues for development.
It wasn't that good a show anyway.
First Aid Kit will surely be in the running too for this.
Big fan of Spiritualized and think Hey Jane is a decent track. The rest of the album isn't up to much sadly.
Enjoyed rather than loved this episode, much like the rest of the season so far (with the exception of Remedial Chaos Theory & Documentary Filmmaking: Redux). Garrett's cameos always raise a laugh and I'm interested in the developing Troy and Abed story but I didn't get much from Jeff/Annie nor Pierce. Perhaps I'm…
Was it always this funny?
Delighted of course to have our old friend back and while the episode did have some amusing moments it won't live too long in the memory like others. I enjoyed Troy and Abed's attempt to be normal and Shirley's interaction with Britta on the couch but it all just rolled along fairly pleasantly without providing…
I had chased a girl in my school for a long time and finally managed to get a date out of her. My first big romance aged 13. We agreed to go to the cinema and see Mrs Doubtfire. I turned up an hour early in nervous excitement, she was half an hour late. That was bad enough but she also turned up with her fat ugly…
With regards to the opening sentence of the Fast Food Nation review it may be worth noting there is an excellent documentary from a year or two back - Food Inc - which gives some insight into the workings of the fast food industry.
Yeah that was OK. Couple of good laughs, mostly with Howard although I agree the moment at the end with Bernadette was ruined somewhat. Shaping up to be a season of 2 halves - first was dreadful and second has been on the whole pretty decent.
For me A Serious Man is their poorest film by a considerable distance.
I'm pretty sure that's what it was here in the U.K
