Don’t know how I’d score that one. On the one hand, Wiggins is a pretty bad shooter, and so much of the Cavs’ offense relies on the inside-out game with LeBron passing from the post, so I’m not sure he’d be better than Love. On the other hand, maybe it would have left them some cap flexibility to bring in someone else.

I’m not sure that there’s anything the Cavs could have done against this Warriors team. Still, my understanding is that LeBron pushed for JR and Shump, and while those guys are ok, they’re just not enough. Maybe against a hypothetical Spurs team, or a re-run of last year’s Warriors, but you gotta at least outperform

Other than his relatively quiet (offensively) first game, Klay has been low-key amazing in this series. I think if it weren’t for Durant being a world-destroying supernova, there’d be a credible MVP argument for him (for the record: I think it would be Curry, but you could plausibly argue for Klay).

It’s almost as though basketball is a team sport....

top-50 all time player scottie pippen is actually chopped liver

this would own hard

Right, but I think relying on donations from people with emotional connections to sports is the mistake to begin with. Like, the stadium costs half a billion dollars; the interest payments are going to hit the tens of millions of dollars range in the relative near future. All respect to your dad and other folks like

So glad my alma mater has decided to commit financial suicide to renovate that stupid fucking stadium. Fuck it all, I’d love to see the damn thing burn down; hell, I half-welcome the earthquake so it can bring an end to the boondoggle that is Memorial Stadium. We’re going to spend a billion dollars on this shit before

As a Berkeley alum, let me just say how idiotic the snobbery in the responses to you is. Is Berkeley a great school? No doubt. It is not the only great school, nor the only great public school in the country, not by a long shot. Michigan, Wisconsin, UNC, other UC institutions, they’re all really good and have top

fortunately for me i was a math major

Right before Curry turns to commit that double-dribble, LeBron’s got his hand right on his upper arm.

On the same play, LeBron is clearly shown grabbing Steph’s arm (before the double-dribble occurs) which was also not called, so I’m going to call this one even.

Like, for virtually all other players, volume of shooting correlates negatively with accuracy but... not for Steph. Him being a volume shooter from range is actually good! That’s insane!

My dude, he’s shooting 43.8% for his career. He’s never had a sub-40% season. That is unquestionably elite.

Craig Hodges, over the course of his career, shot an even 40% on three-pointers, while attempting 2 per game. In one season last year, Curry hit 3/4 as many threes as Hodges made in his entire career. The same is true for those other guys, including Kerr; no one combines volume and accuracy the way that Steph does. By

That’s pretty much it. He’s never done anything useful or important, started out as a minor reporter and then had a blog that was acquired by the Post for god knows what reason. He’s been riding that gravy train ever since.

No?

Cillizza is a prime example of a vapid moron who keeps failing upwards. There’s literally no stupidity that he could utter which would get him canned from his CNN sinecure.

this is beautiful, i am crying

Playing for the Nets ages you three times as fast.
