Mangold made his comments at a press event for his latest film, Indiana Jones and the Squeezings of the Lost Rag.

Man, this is sad. My father had TCM on nonstop in the hospital a few months ago as he withered and died slowly. My last memories are riffing on movies with him and telling Orson Welles jokes. It was so great to hear his laugh a few final times. He sure loved his TCM!

Someone needs to set her up with DiCaprio before it’s too late!

The surest sign of capitalism run amuck is that a corporation that makes 1 billion dollars in net profit every year is unsustainable; it needs to make 2 billion the next year, 3 the next, etc.

so you admit that identifying as “X” is a joke.

This is outrageous.

How about commemorating all of the hard working real life meth dealers, Albuquerque? How about them?

I wish they had kept the brown sleeves on Link, tho. I always thought they looked very nice.

yeah, Nintendo definitely overcorrected with TP, giving everyone the Zelda they thought they wanted, which was little more than a OoT rehash.

the gorons have nipples, man. That alone discounts TP from being the best looking anything, at all.

I loved that the backlash to Wind Waker coincided with my, at the time, favorite Zelda game second only to Link to the Past. When I later played Twilight Princess and realized it was just 20% a mediocre generic Zelda game and 80% a mediocre rip-off of Okami, it made me love Wind Waker even more.

I was one of those whining all over internet forums back in the day about the new look. I didn’t mind it, but this macho culture settled over video games in the late 90s and early 00s—I remember my cousins and friends thinking I was stupid for liking Nintendo or even owning a Gamecube, and WW was the perfect example

Yep. TP is by far THE UGLIEST 3D Zelda if you don't take system limitations on graphics into account imo.

Yeah I remember a bunch of friends in school griping about it reading magazine previews, saying it looked like a kiddie game, but I thought it looked amazing before I even saw it in motion. Still looks wonderful.

I have to disagree with you on this one. I adore Twilight but Wind Waker stands toe-to-toe with Breath of the Wild for that crown.

Obviously subjective, but I think of the 3D Zeldas, I’d have TP as the weakest outside of the N64 games. (And even then, MM at least has an awesome tone)

Twilight Princess wasn’t photorealistic; like the N64 games, it was still pretty anime.

big disagree. a lot of the npcs look terrible and most of the environments are blandly brown-and-bloom, like some many games from that era.

I actually get a little nostalgic for the backlash on Wind Waker, as I learned about it through magazines and lunchtime at school. Good times with some of my friends blasting “Powerpuff Link”, while I secretly liked it lol.

That folks producing the fifth movie never thought of approaching him is ridiculous.

Honestly, I would like a Short Round spinoff way more than an Indiana Jones reboot, where another actor tries to copy Harrison Ford but just sucks at it. A Short Round movie would be new enough to have a chance to succeed.
