Have you looked into 2015 demo models? Dealers in California were pushing these hard off the lot. I got mine pretty dang cheap. In and out the door within 3 hours including test driving the 2016 and 2015.

Have you looked into 2015s (if they have any left)? It may be a bit different in California but I managed to get a 2015 demo M235i (7k miles~) in December for $2,150 down, $550 month incl. tax/fees for a 15k mile lease.
