Firstly the R10, R15, and R18 aren’t powered by, “you guessed it” 10, 15 or 18 cylinder engines. It isn’t precedent that Audi’s R cars have the same number of cylinders as the number in the name.

The R8 V10 and V10+ already existed in the first generation R8. So it would make sense for R8 V6 name to make an appearance

I don’t know... with the new Ford GT sporting a turbo 6, plus other seriously quck cars like the GTR and the venerable 911 Turbo also with turbo 6's it’s not a bad neighborhood to be in. We’ll see how they tune it, but it would be easy for this to be an improvement over the V8 performance wise. (and, fwiw, I have a B7

Lol no

997 didn't have the IMS bearing issues. I'm almost positive that was exclusive to the 996 and 1g boxster.

Eleven. Grand.

Holy Hell, I think we see the effects Doug has had on the Range Rover market.

Not sure if you noticed the current, but that depth of water moving at 10kts+ would have floated your veedub, rolled it over and be a very bad time. That individual was lucky he didn't do the same. He sunk quickly, but had floated for a brief moment. That was more of a rapids crossing than calm river wading. Ballsy

“No, it was my FRIEND’S!!” That didn’t work when mom found your cigarettes when you were 14, and it doesn’t work in professional sporting events.

“I think we’ve run out of places to put vents”

I thought it was interesting. I went to walmart in the part of town you don’t normally go to....

That’s hilarious. I love jokes about drivers killing cyclists.

I had an XKR coupe going 95 in the rain through a parking lot (driving event) They are pretty amazing machines.

I think the XK is extremely underrated. There I said it. I know GT cars catch flak around here, but luxury with a powerful engine that can go sideways. That is about as good as it gets.

Negative, that color is called very dark beige

“The Mercedes GL is the biggest truck in Mercedes’s lineup.”

Except all the marketing hype around this announcement, about how they were going to change everything is complete crap. They showed off a model car they aren’t going to build that can’t drive and a list of ideas they have

So did they deliver on the “What if” PR?

Re 2: I’m not aware that Hillary’s base denies evolution or wants to build giant walls. If we’re going to stoop low enough to suggest there’s an idiot base out there, out of all the candidates there’s no way the finger can end up being pointed in Clinton’s direction.

I’m confused by your statement. You do realize that in order for a car to be “well engineered,” massive amounts of money have to be spent. Don’t you?

Isn’t it common knowledge that airlines could vastly improve plane loading times by using more efficient methods of loading passengers onto the plane (i.e, something more efficient than “zones”)? The reason they keep things the way they are is that loading the passengers onto the plane isn’t the primary determining
