I came away with the opposite feeling. Rogue One has given us the clearest, harshest picture of what the Empire is really about. They destroy Alderaan in Star Wars but we only see the planet blowing up from a distance. Rogue in both its Death Star sequences, made it painfully, horrifically clear what the weapon does.…
