And that's a problem why? So they potentially invalidate an ending of ME3, who cares? It's been 5+ years at this point. I really think that sentiment is an excuse rather than a legitimate reason for not going back to the Milky Way. There are several reasons for that:

Personally, I thought he looked like the s**t demon from the movie Dogma. And once I saw that, there was no way I could unsee it. Pretty much torpedoed whatever remaining chance I had to take him seriously at that point.

But I would apply that logic to the Milky Way too - just set the game 100 years after the Reaper War. That part of the universe is *already* interesting. They don't need to try to make it interesting like Andromeda.

Man, I kinda hope they just dump Andromeda as a setting. Nothing about it excited me at all. So much of it felt soulless and perfunctory - BioWare checking off boxes of things Mass Effect is "supposed" to have, without investing any thought into what made those things good to begin with.
