This isn’t assisted suicide.
This isn’t assisted suicide.
This isn’t an issue pertaining to assisted suicide. Her pain and suffering was treatable. This is about the healthcare system doing its job. I am a huge advocate for right-to-die, but this is not a right-to-die issue.
“While Carolyn [had] told him in the past that she wanted to die, she [had] never asked him specifically to kill her.”
How solid can it be if they can’t afford the medication? Do you think he’s lying about this ?
of note: FL is one of the states that declined medicaid expansion
yeah my grandma had this and she had a supplement. Her parkinson’s meds were still a few hundred dollars a month.
“Solid coverage” is relative. I have a disabled spouse. I work for a fucking pharmaceutical company and have decent insurance. The co-pays for medication are still hefty. I can afford it, but it isn’t inconsequential. These things add up quickly.
That would even be a decent mental exercise if this woman weren’t condemned already due to run of the mill elder poverty.
Assisted suicide here would be under conditions of economic coercion, and yes, I believe that is immoral. We need a find a way to make medication affordable to the people who need it.

Lots of stylists will do a free bang trim for you between haircuts! Just ask if your salon offers this.
probably a lot longer...i remember there being a few items about her being pregnant, but there wasn’t any confirmation from her camp, its crazy that they actually managed to keep the birth, gender, name a secret.
I'm impressed. I wonder how long they would have been able to hide their baby if her costar hasn't let the cat out of the bag. I'm picturing them being all stealthy hiding their baby in a tower until he escaped like in a gothic romance.
I totally thought that but the reference became so tortured when I tried to write it up I just scrapped it.
I mean, this isn’t the first time Pete Campbell’s baby mama kept her pregnancy and delivery a secret.
Holy crap! As many times as I have seen that picture, I never noticed that.
“It’s not who he is. And I’ve known my father obviously my whole life and he has total respect for women.”
Do you see what the birds are doing?
‘My hands are big enough to grope with, you know. I just choose not to. I could wrap my hand around a woman’s thigh with room left to clutch a stack of hundos.”
