No one cares for us.
No one cares for us.
Speaking of Czechoslovakia, one animator who did films for CTW in the past, Paul Fierlinger once made an animated autobiography on his life as the son of a top politician of the country and his stay behind the Iron Curtain in "Drawn From Memory", worth a watch.

True.
I'm sure they don't.
Yep, my PBS station ran it like that too.
And yet I love the music!
Nothing wrong with that!
I miss that logo dearly!
Sounded like they used an actual copy of Fifth Dimension's "California Soul" as well.
If only the Bell logo was brought back! The New AT&T could easily stick it in again where I am (maybe bring back the "Ohio Bell" moniker, I still can't get that out of my head).
I still have one a mile down the street.
Just not my kind of humor.
Aren't they all like that nowadays?
Funny I didn't know this existed.
Interesting to learn Davis' staff worked on the ghostly pirates animation themselves. I would've figured Film Roman did it themselves but nice to know that now.

I suppose for me, I'll remember him for "Stanley The Ugly Duckling", having seen that on Nickelodeon a few times in the 80's.
At least you like it. There are some who can't quite warm up to it I noticed. I would call Shinbone Alley a brilliant mess personally, not a mess in the artistic sense, but one who's premise wasn't well-realized or what direction it felt it needed to go.
Thank Freberg & Co. for that one.
