Well I put my reply before I saw yours but you sir are very correct I have had a couple of supercharged cars. The one that was factory supercharged had the psi increased, but it was done correctly and with in reason. Never had a problem out of them.

Just like with the turbo on the car and overclocking if you are with in a certain range you have nothing to worry about.
