Not trying to be a jerk but I have honestly never purchased an app on my ipod touch I have purchased a good number for my android devices and will likely keep it this way. I've been wanting to figure this developing apps/coding thing out so I can try it out but can't find any good literature.

Its a matter of I like my tech to be controlled by me not the manufacturer after its purchased. If I buy a new car from ford and start modding they don't care its my car, same thing I wish the tech industry would do.

Look its not like the android users wont come up with a way to free the fire from its chains anyways!

Yeah me too I don't need one cause I've got a tab I actually just something else making headlines on giz besides apple products:) In all seriousness if it sells great it well help motivate the market.

That's me! And I'm writing from my macbook! (Just hating on IOS though)

I got to ask this question whats the difference in android "fragmentation" when the ios platform abandons its older devices to look at the siri program you guys are going nuts about doesn't work on last years phone does it?

Look us die hard android fans root and make apps work that weren't supposed to work on our phone(remember netfix?). We don't care about fragmentation we will make it work.

I have a 3g galaxy tab not really interested in the fire but I might would purchase it for my wife a gift.

Actually if you had an iphone you would drop it once and it would be over seen a brand new one get dropped last weak first time I've seen a phone shatter front and back. That's quality right there!

It doesn't really matter if it breaks I mean I try to get a decent phone I have the droid x deuce, but who cares if it breaks when you take it to the carrier and they toss you another?

Wow I tried to forget about the touch/click screen!

So basically we "phandroids" are idiots because some people buy the cheap version of a phone? I still have the original droid that works fine its a backup but its works fine, and it has been in the discount bin for a long time. Apple doesn't really seam to be getting ripped a new one for their new flagship sucking

Oh my god I just about fell out of my chair laughing and I agree with your statement!

Just looks like an airport on a swamp to me?

Wow and from what I hear those guys pretty much get to do as they see fit I wouldn't start no shit if I were there.

Yes you can redo the contract with Verizon and keep your unlimited. I called them and asked them a few weeks back(when news of galaxy nexus got good). The only way you will loose your unlimited is if you change your data plan or quit using a smart phone once you leave it you can never go back to it. So if you

Do your really think they were having problems with data usage? I suppose you think I own ocean front property in Arizona then as well. Just a line os BS they used to justify bending everyone over the barrel I specifically told them how I was going to use mine when I upgraded to a smart phone they said not a problem

Its mostly a matter of coverage for a lot of people like me no carrier works where I live but verizon and I'm grandfathered in but if they take unlimited I will go with sprint on principal.

Well I do some of that too but I just can't see myself paying $0.99 on itunes for every song I want to hear that is reserved for songs I really want badly. To be honest though I haven't purchased a cd since I got my first smart phone.

Sorry it wouldn't let me edit my previous comment but I was going to add I have a 3g tablet but since it is capped and for to use one of my personal laptops I would have to hotspot anyway its just simpler for me on the phone. I do six jobs a day usually only 5 minutes at the job and then i'm on to the next one could
