From the Jalopnik (Truck Yeah) article posted today about the new Land Rover Defender:

Brave Fencer Musashi > Tesla's Atari games.

I brought my Model 3 to a rural car show over the summer. A local deputy sheriff who was happily directing traffic leaned in and asked if it was a Tesla - it was the first he’d seen in the flesh. I said that it was indeed, and asked him if he wanted to take it for a spin.

Lol.

I think the problem here is that you can’t actually market this thing to people who don’t know about cars. There’s no wool-pulling. It’s not like the Urus (I finally have an excuse to drive a Lambo!) or some heritage-laden tweedmobile (Careful with the Jag, darling).

Lots of car names became famous to normies for

I know I’m in the minority but I agreed with the call. Vettel made a mistake and had regained control of the car before heading back on to the racing line to block Hamilton. If you haven’t regained control of your car you don’t go back to power which Vettel clearly did.

You sound like someone who definitely knows their stuff. But if you are going to keep some M cars from the generation like we do, what are you going to keep and care for like say, E30 M3 cars? At least you keep one of these. For us, one is an S54 M Roadster of this variety. Sub frames are fine btw. They don’t all

Excellent and amusing essay from a former owner like myself. :-)

What’s really fucked up here (or should I say, has the potential to be...) is what they calculate the residual value of the leased models at.

Who can buy one? She…can.

Kristen, I’m disappointed. That’s much closer to Takumi and his AE86 (granted his is a Trueno not a Levin) and Takeshi Nakazato in his R32.

It looks like Snoopy projectile vomiting.

I can’t figure out from the press release if the races will be available to watch on-demand later on?

It’s pretty well established that conservative causes choose their female spokespersons by criteria that don’t require them to be personable (or, for that matter, particularly knowledgeable or honest). They want girls who are as combative as they are fuckable—and they better be very combative.

Have you ever seen a Slingshot owner? Think of an old dude that also owns a C6 Vette (that he bought used from a note lot, and acts like it’s the greatest car in the world... probably has a Corvette polo shirt), sports a goatee, wears PC Bro sunglasses, and vapes.

Because the Morgan makes people smile, while this... makes people shudder.

They make Porsche purists hella mad - so there’s that lol.

Umm no

I am a veteran of startup life, and also have the perspective of working for Fortune 400 companies as well. What the startups have is incredible energy and great ideas, but they often lack the organizational discipline to keep their costs low and their product development on track towards commercialization and well,

I remember from the first time it appeared they said the rules but when the buu saga started they would say new rules each time something would happen. Fisrt it was only two people at a time and they sent goten and trunks, then buu got in, piccolo got in and they got to scream a lot to open a portal and walk out
