I've driven plenty of BMW's old and new including the F30. While not the F32, they're probably similar enough. And even though they may be marginally better handling than the rest of the segment, BMW's styling, product lineup, and overall brand whoring and niche-impregnating direction doesn't impress me. I used to be

You keep adding -er after the number series, that's what's wrong with you. And the model whoring is what's wrong with BMW. To me, Lexus is becoming the more exciting brand. BMWers are boring slabs of stale bread. And not the good kind of bread products they used to make aka Z3 M Coupe

:'(

It's not an official Daft Punk endorsement, but there are some cues. Moreso than the mannequins, the Lexus "Racing" logo looks a lot like the "Get Lucky" typeface. Still, it's a stretch to try to force this association, whether you're Jalopnik or Autoblog.

Nico has a new helmet.

oh cry me a river dude it's the god damn internet, people need to have their balls drop eventually and not get so butthurt. when someone posts such dramatic hyperbole such as calling this one of the "greatest design fails of recent times" they should expect to hear equally ridiculous sentiments in return.

Your face is one of the greatest design fails of recent times. Would you prefer more beige Toyotas?

Fair enough, it is a hassle and having your car "easily" salvage titled is not fun to deal with. We all have different thresholds for risk I suppose, and to me the thrill of driving mine is far greater than the potential risk I take. With the proper alertness in driving, you can decrease chances of accidents, and the

Usually if the car is totaled, you don't retake ownership of the car. You get a payout for the market value of the car from your insurance company. I'm not advocating keeping the car with the totaled chassis... I am saying you don't have to deal with the headache of keeping an accident title car, rather than having it

The worst part of the car? No, not the spindle grill (I like it and applaud Lexus for having un-beige balls). No, it's this fucking analog clock. Instead of being elegant and classy looking, it looks out of place and hideous. Why have an analog dial right below a giant infotainment screen?

You're blind if you think that's an improvement. Jesus mother of fuck.

It's a valid risk, but honestly, if you drive carefully and maintain safe distances and upgrade the headlights to decent HID's, you stand a good chance of avoiding accidents and indeed any clamshell damage or chassis damage. And actually, having the car being totaled would be preferable than trying to repair a car's

So basically you're talking out of your ass, based on heresay, or satirical writing from a guy on the internet.

Pisses "car enthusiasts" off? Good. Build it Lexus. You have more balls than BMW, Mercedes, and Audi combined. Don't care if the M4 is likely marginally faster or better handling. The fact that this thing makes "enthusiasts" so angsty makes me like it all the more.

Haha thanks...but Nah there's already been a lot written about Fisker, and there are some investigative journalists who have dug a lot deeper than the high level overview I just gave. I don't want to air the dirty laundry because as I said, I really think it's sad that Fisker failed and the legacy has become so

Finance. Let's just leave it at that lol...

That's right outside the Fisker Anaheim offices. I used to work there, that's probably one of the "mileage cars" that engineers tested. It is likely an executive because everyone I know got laid off earlier in the year.

You just mentioned Dinan and "bang for your buck"

No there is not such a kit. I have a Lotus with a K swap. The Atom offers a supercharged K20 too, also transversely mounted. The F20 does not work because it is longitudinal as I've already said.

Not possible because the F20/22 engine and gearbox are not transversely mounted. The K series is, and there are already several swap kits out there for the Lotus. It also has a lot more potential than the F20/22
