Aw man, in silver even! No offense about the GT3, but I’d take the NSX without thinking twice about it lol.

Sounds awesome! Would love to see a pic of your beast.
While I’d also prefer a ‘97-’01 as they had slightly more oomph as well as another gear, I’d have no problem with a ‘91-’96 as they were a little lighter as well as a little more “raw”. They are closer to what Aryton Senna helped to develop than the later models.
My thoughts exactly, especially that engine bay.
I believe it was due to the torque converter not being able to handle the higher rpm, so the auto was limited to a 7500 rpm redline which only allowed for 252 hp.
Also new for ‘97 along with the bigger/more powerful engine was a 6-speed manual.
Those aren’t so much design “throwbacks” as they are just easter eggs.
Everything about the F40 is purpose-driven; nothing about it is “just for looks."
Sweet Jesus that’s a sexy machine.
Six figures? The ‘92-’02 Vipers were never six-figure cars, and while basic, they were pretty much on par with the majority of American cars from the ‘90’s as far as interiors go. They were cheap and no-frills on the inside, but that’s all they needed to be. The focus was, as it should have been and still should be,…
Right. Amazing performance with exotic looks and high reliability for only $35k. But what? The interior isn’t comparable to a luxury car, but is just basic enough to work so you can focus on driving? Geez, nevermind. What a piece of shit.
I absolutely agree with all those points.
I’m with you. I’ve felt forever as though I’m one of the few in the world who actually truly likes the Mondial. I’m no fan of the coupe’s lines, but the cabriolets? Just sexy IMO. Plus, the 3.2 and t are genuinely quick cars, even today. The 8 may lose to a Focus, but it still looks great (in cabrio form) and makes…
I would absolutely be proud to own a Mondial 3.2 or Mondial t. I’ve been in love with Mondial cabriolets since I was a toddler. However, an old 8, especially in coupe form such as this one? Yeah, no thanks.
The old one looks SOOO much better than the new one. *sigh*
This has to be the Pontiac Aztek of sedans when it comes to hideous design. Jesus H., who the hell signed off on this? It's literally the most cluster-fuc*ed design language I've seen in recent memory. They should call it the Nissan Mansory.
Same situation with my wife's '14 Flex. I tried and tried to talk her into stepping up one more notch into the Ecoboost model (365 HP, plus so easy to tune for more), but she wouldn't have it, so we ended up with the non-turbo Limited model. I still love the thing, though.
When we bought our (my wife’s) Flex last year, we were debating on the FWD v.s. AWD and ended up choosing FWD because while it does snow more than plenty here in the Midwest, AWD may only actually be “needed” a handful of times, at most, throughout the entire year; the rest of the time would be spent hauling around…
Who’s McClaren?
Correct. If only this is what the F12 looked like...
