But it won't be anything like the F1, even if "similar". It won't be as raw, as analogue, as mechanical. It simply won't be "another F1".

'Bout sums it up perfectly. It'll always be the Greatest of All Time to me.
Wow, there aren't enough facepalms in the world...
Say WHAAAAAT??? The original was perfectly proportioned. A flawless design.
Speaking along those lines, I could swear I remember reading years ago that Lamborghini way back in the day also made a/c units, and perhaps other household appliances, along with his tractors.
Agreed. They should have called it "long nose" instead, because in that profile pic, the tail looks no longer than before, but the nose is a mile long and just looks ridiculous.
I'm with ya. The 12C's front fascia looks sooo much better. The old face on the new car would be perfect.
That's awesome! Definitely a rare car and he obviously knew exactly what he wanted. Hopefully he still has it, but if he sold it then he definitely got a nice premium for it.
LMAO! How does your massive head fit through any doorways?
Please post a pic! And congratulations on your NART blue 550! You, sir, have excellent taste.
Just a sidenote: If one of them DIDN'T have a gated shifter, then it was a 575M. All 550s were sticks.
Perhaps I can talk you into a sweet black, gated shifter Mondial coupe for less than $20k lol.
Actually both models were used in BB2 as the same car; they used the 550 in heavy action scenes where it was more likely that the car would see damage and abuse. If you pay attention to the front of the car, you can see them swapping back and forth between the 550 and the 575 often throughout the movie.
Good luck finding a manual 575, though. All 550's were manual; only about 12% of 575's were built with a stick (246 of 2064 total built, some of those being RHD models).
