AFAIK, this is why Squall rocks a fur-lined jacket and Edea looks… the way Edea looks. That kind of thing was really tough to render, so it was supposed to be a challenge to the animation team to get it right.

Creepy as hell realization: Wakka's outfit is almost the same as the one worn by Eiko in FFIX. Really. Right down to the asymmetrical shoulder horn.
