If you ignore the fact it’s a mainline FF game, it still stands on it’s own as a decent game. Great graphics, animation, emotion, music, battle system, and when the game does FINALLY open up, the hunts are great and the battles get way more tactical and intense (see Gigantaur hunt).

I honestly think Nintendo should consider buying up the Hudsonsoft IPs from Konami. Konami is just sitting on them, with not even a Bomberman gambling machine to show for it. It could work, unless Konami is far too obstinate to even consider losing anything for any reason.
