One of the first times I saw an FRS in the wild, a well dressed couple easily in their 70s got into it after a performance at the symphony.  I believe she was driving.  My surprised reaction was “good for them.” 

That’s a pretty good idea. I was thinking Abarth 500, but this has to be right up there with it.

This is easy; Subaru BRZ. It hits price point, looks great, isn’t too fast (definitely no worries there), and will definitely throw people for a look if they see a 79yo lady get out of it. You really don’t find that car beautiful? I mean, that particular example is a bit splounched thanks to the tiny wheels and the stance and the paint and everything, but I think it’s a clean and lovely design, especially for a cheap commuter car.

It is basic. It’s a rear-wheel drive box with seats and a steering wheel.

The 650S is a production car, with the development costs spread out over all the models McLaren sells.

The iDX is one the best concepts that never made it to production. All we got was the Kicks, the Al Bundy of autos.
