Do people... do people really want this that bad? I didn’t know I could play with anyone’s emotions over a Japanese hatchback with some red stitching.

I’m more partial to the Subaru but I love the FBRSZ86 twins. If its underpowered, lightweight, revs high, and won’t kill my ham-fisted behind then I’m down.
You get a star just for the username.
Concur. Monza Ferraris rock.
The reason is in the article. After you spend five figures on modifications, you just can’t afford to go to a race track!
1st gear: Are you listening, Trump? EVERYONE has told you now that the tariffs are bad, because they are dumb and bad. If you’re truly for the American people and jobs like you say you are, you’ll get rid of all these stupid-ass tariffs. He won’t listen to me though. Can someone tell Vlad to tell him? He’s the only…
Just no. The JZ is a 30 year old design. The amount of reengineering needed to be done to make the old iron pig meet current emission standards, reduce fuel consumption and weight is far more work and expensive than designing a new engine. There were plenty of good engines in the past, but VERY few engines have a…
Those people have some problems if they get that hyped about a car. I’m actually going to be looking at getting one and even i’m not that crazy.
Guys, his name is MOTO Miwa, not MOTOR Miwa, lol.
“Motor Miwa” is “Moto Miwa,” a (the?) founder of the club4ag forums, U.S. CUSCO rep., and has some involvement with development on this platform, as well as the FT-1 (GT86, FR-S). Just clarifying in case someone sees “facebook post by some guy” and assumes it doesn’t at least hold some weight/credibility.
......they didn’t actually start to seriously consider the new supra until 2014 with the FT1 design concept. Everything else was just media hype from dipshits. If you think that is when car development starts then the mid-engine corvette has been in development for 50 years.
No, i’m pretty sure you must not actually work in this industry if you think its 2 years from design concept to production. Trademarking the name is nothing, our company re-ups trademarks all the time.
Time will tell, however i’m pretty sure it will land with better reviews than ordinary GT.
5 years from design concept to production is hardly dragging it out in the auto industry.
What about this is making you think you will be disappointed?
Well the fact that the GT86/BRZ is getting another generation is a good sign.
Not really, Toyota has showed the car very few times. Its auto journalists who post every single snippet of info they get that makes this car seem like it is taking so long. Very different the the NSX which actually changed design over the course of many years.
Seriously... How could they NOT*
