My heart goes out to this woman, and I know she is just looking for a way to cope with losing her kid and she just needs someone to blame, but this isn’t a packaging issue it is a not paying attention issue. There is no way to solve that.

Tough to gauge the Takeout commentariat. I don’t know if you’re going to get 100 stars and a ton of like minded follow up comments, or derision and scorn for being a horrible monster with no heart.

I mean, this definitely sucks and I have no problem with making sure allergens are properly listed, but:

^^^ Need I say more ? Can’t wait for Gazoo racing to get there hands on this corolla. Or even TOM’s and make a performance model. Also please don’t discredit the Toyota Corolla name plate just because Toyota hasn’t made a performance model since the 2005 XRS with the Yamaha motor, days of the twin cams and RWD

Most people that want manuals want it for the performance aspect. A sunroof adds weight up high where you don’t want it, and flex. That’s why so many performance cars have “sunroof delete” as part of the package, and why the Civic CX or HX are more desirable than the EX when turning into project cars.

Your description is basically exactly how I feel about my 2008 Honda Fit Sport. Though, that thing only has around 109 HP, but then again it only weights about 2400 with the back seats out.

This is a massive, MASSIVE improvement over the Corolla sedan. I just hope the interior doesn’t feel like a 90's Kia like the current one does.

Blank buttons are a long-running Toyota tradition.

It’s only partial Subaru. I had my BRZ tS up on a rack and was amazed how many Toyota parts are underneath the skin. I’m still considering the Supra as my next car. My fianceé and I were test driving various BMW’s, and the N-series motor is really fantastic. I’ve got the tS, and an Ae86, so it would be cool to get a

Car Buyer here. Worst test drive I’ve ever been on was a test drive in a lightly used BRZ. The salesman had ZERO idea about the car and I had to correct him as I was trying to concentrate on driving and how the car felt.

This is a car I’m very seriously considering buying, just give me the damn specs and price point.

Only 100 HP? Weaksauce! Repeating the same mistake with the AE86 that Toyota did with the GT86. They should have put a Turbo on this thing from the factory. My Dad’s 4 cylinder 1999 Camry can beat this thing to 60mph. (If it can even get to 60, that is)

Based on his Trump-esque capitalization choices you KNOW he has poor reading comprehension. SAD!

Generalizing that title- “Trump Shits on X for doing Y after doing Z that forced X to do Y” is a perfect summary of how he operates.

Will the tariffs kill Harley? No. But they are another strike at the legs of a wobbly stool and soon it is going to tumble.

That appears to be a good summary of the situation.

Domestic industries will realize that their competition, the imported goods, are more expensive, and will raise their prices accordingly.  They may set their prices to be “just” cheap enough that you’d buy domestic over the import, but everything gets more expensive for consumers.

But tariffs and taxes protect US jobs!
