My Toyota was painted by Subaru. It basically just peels off as I drive down the road. lol

“the company even formulated a lightweight paint specially to reduce the volume of liquid needed.”

Anytime I hear someone start defending the tariffs this is what I picture

You and me both.

Exactly why I don’t mind that my FR-S has a very basic analog stereo/cd player. Bluetooth is all I need for infotainment.

I’m guessing it had to do with the blower. He specifically notes that he likes how it breaks the trend of small displacement turbo I4s in hot hatches.

If this had come to the United States in the low to mid $20k range, as it likely would be priced here, I’d 100% buy one.

That’s good that they’ve extended it to the GT too, but it’d be really nice if Mazda would put one on their most basic/”no frills” model. Since that’d very much be in line with catering to their enthusiast market, which they’re normally great at.

I’d just like to see them offer an LSD at least as an option along all models. Plenty of enthusiasts would love to buy a Sport model if it just had an LSD, but nope that’ll cost you the extra $3k to jump up to a Club model.

Nope. They’ve made it abundantly clear that they have no plans to do forced induction on these cars. It’s more likely you’ll see Subaru’s new 2.4L in there.

I feel like this could be the pilot episode for a new HGTV show. (Pun not intended, but appreciated after I typed it and realized what I’d done)

Or some crafty entrepreneurial type millennial could turn this into a wild AirBnB.

Stef, buy my 2013 FR-S! It’s already got the oil cooler necessary to keep it reliable on track, nearly brand new 2017 BRZ shocks/struts, recently replaced Centric blank rotors, Series.Blue STI wheels, an axleback for moar racecar noises!, and I’ll throw in a couple sets of track pads (Project Mu Club Racers and Winmax

No need for the driveshaft, OFT, or WRX 4 pots. Lowering springs are optional, but the stock suspension is plenty capable for track days, and the stock width tires have actually proved to be fastest in most SoCal/NorCal 86 Cup stock class races.

Replace the items above with an oil cooler, some better fluids, pads, and

Stance-ification is a lot different when it’s on purpose-built track only drift cars. The extreme front camber serves a major purpose in terms of grip, it’s not the same as excessive camber on stanced road cars built for instagram fame points.

Can a writer/intern win COTD? Because if so, this should have been the winner yesterday.

A clean AE86
