Man all the abbreviating now gets this old guy all the time (many Google searches). It’s Buffalo Wild Wings.

Is that a spelling error or are u mashing up “Ilsa, She W0lf of the SS” and “Frozen”?

Starred for the thoughts but also the PKD-inspired handle.  Cheers.

Wonderfully written post.

I’m lit af right now so I’m just going to ride with “Great Post”.

I’m with the taxonomists on this one. For all you “hot dog deserves to be called a sandwich” people, I’d like to suggest you start asking vendors for a “hot dog sandwich, please” and see which loony bin you rightfully end up in.

Sorry, shouldn’t have assumed you would know who I was referring to. Definitely yttrium, and his spiraling examples in the thread he started. Your second to last paragraph (starting “I simply think...”) pretty much nails it, though I might go farther and say that yttrium’s view on adaptation is so “catholic” as to

You know I wanted to laugh at this anecdote but then I remembered teenage me picking out Naked Lunch (annoyingly whenever my Father chides me, he calls it Naked Breakfast) for family viewing, and the fact that decades later no one in my family trusts my taste in film. I will still defend THAT movie though.

I think he’s got a cogent point that he runs right off the rails with nonsense that leads to the rebuttal of your first paragraph.

Wow, thanks for typing that out (quite well too) so I don’t have to.  Good stuff, Maynard.

Aw, she is a cutie of the patootie variety for sure.  I hope her future is full of joy and accomplishments (she already seems to have a good start).  On a really bad day this was just what I needed, thanks.

Also, I quite like the solo song “Dreaming”, reminds me of early Opal and the whole Paisley Underground thing.

I prefer the Germs and Adolescents, no I kid.  This was a nice article, well written and obviously full of personal enthusiasm.  Great album and band too, just sad that so much of first wave punk’s energy and FU spirit dwindled so quickly.  Also a big fan of Nina Hagen (speaking of female punk pioneers who were

Well dernit, now u made me nostalgic for my later punker days and wearing ridiculously large metal rings and cheap leather jackets covered in pins from the local record shop.  Good times!

I love that saying. Plus it reminds me of those green Mr.Yuck stickers my dad used to put on everything in his “workshop”. Cheers.

When my sister first went vegan she was very opinionated about it and prophesied the ascendancy of that view and the eventual outlawing of meat consumption.  I told her if that were to come to pass I would not hesitate to eat healthy, young vegans.  For some reason, neither she nor her friends found this funny.

They’re all grass fed.

Same here.

Matt Berry is enough to rope me on this. The clips are very short but the coin one was sold by the clerk adding the modifier ‘ancient’ to coin.

Anyone else reminded of the story “The Body Politic” by Clive Barker when reading this? (Of course ED 2 as well but that one’s so obvious.)
