The scene is great, but this mini game sucks ass. 

Man, I think this game looks old. Like 360 / PS3 old. Not in the environments or the particle effects or anything technical, but more in the game design and art design, especially since its art design is so bland. I wish it could have leaned a little bit into the comic book nature of the whole thing and maybe stylized…

I’ve never experienced music like in FFXV. The music changes and adapts depending on the mood or place in the game. If you ride a chocobo and just stay still, the music becomes more relaxed but then if you start running, more instruments gets added and it becomes more exciting. Same with entering and leaving diners…

I suppose it’s easier to reuse and up-convert existing 3D models from the PS2 code

He’s right. The company is taking a huge risk to reinvigorate the series. They have to though, because what was happening before wasn’t working. Maybe a little, but more change is needed.. There’s so much competition out there nowadays
