I aim to please.

Indeed!

The first sentence says that this is a Disney movie, but all the marketing says that this is a 20th Century Fox and BBC affair.

This is 20th Century Fox, not Disney.

Exactly.

Olaf is really one of the sweetest parts of the story, and (mostly) endearing.

The movie was very fun. Somewhere between Wreck-It-Ralph and Tangled in overall quality. It's absolutely beautiful (the trailer doesn't do the art justice), and the truth is, it exceeded my expectations for the characters, too.

I kind of thought the same thing. It's nothing like Shrek.

Wrong. Altogether.

Yeah, kids don't notice or care. My son and Daughter both love Tangled, Wreck it Ralph, and now Frozen, just as they love the classic disney movies. Kids care about fun characters and stories.

Having seen it, it's not at all Tangled on ice. The stories and characterization are all quite different.

I think I just became a vegetarian.

I love fire. I love turkey. I do not like the idea of catching my turkey on fire or causing a fire while cooking my turkey. The good news is, following the instructions and using the prescribed safety tools, the above should never happen.

Agreed. I've never once regretted doing something Alton's way. Not once.

If it's done right, a brined and oven cooked turkey is just as good, as far as I'm concerned.

Fried turkey is good, but a properly brined turkey that's cooked in the oven can be just as good. I like both, but I fried once (following the directions, which are clear and easy if you aren't a nit-wit like the folks in the videos above) and it did turn out excellent.

Failure to read the thread any?

I was mostly done with my tax payer provided education in the 90s and I was taught the metric system along side the imperial system. I don't personally know many people under 40 who don't understand metric.

Supernatural shippers say, "No problem!"

Mr. Carter was only a generation off. The good news is, clean energy is finally becoming a publicly available option in most areas. Gigaom had a great piece on how tech companies, and specifically Apple, have started pushing for clean energy. http://gigaom.com/2013/11/18/app…
