EXACTLY, that movie is still in my head. Overwhelming if you really let yourself fully immerse into the moment. I was hooked from the moment those jets screamed over at 500'. Best movie theater experience I’ve had in a decade at least.

I hate to well actually you, but Arrival did get a Best Picture nod.

I think I cried more the second time I saw it. The first time I was just tryna figure out wtf was going on. (Is her kid Jesus??) It is an absolutely fantastic movie.

I completely agree with you. Arrival is an overwhelmingly beautiful movie. It also helps that it came out at a really stressful time when the message of the movie was needed.

I went out to dinner with Monta Ellis and Nick Young once. After the food was served I said, “Could you pass me the salt?” Both looked at me with blank stares on their faces.

All his creative passing, which he has is is great at, won’t mean a thing if teams can play two feet off of him. Jason Kidd, his obvious best case comp, couldn’t shoot for shit early in his career either. But he at least got to the rim and drew fouls. As did Rondo when he was in the mood. Ball doesn’t do that at all.

I watched a lot of UCLA this year. Lonzo is fantastic, but a lot of his stuff won’t translate into the NBA. He reminds me of Adam Morrison in that way. Their games aren’t similar at all, just that their game is better suited to college.

Really looking forward to all the people who called her a killer in the last thread rushing in here to fall on their swords. One thing you can count on, it’s internet people who were motivated ONLY by their concern for traffic safety issuing heartfelt mea culpas and vowing to learn from their mistakes.
