My Mercedes-Benz does this too.

And the flip side of that is the speed limit on 94 in Detroit is 70. More traffic, really bad roads and the speed limit is higher. I'm all for smarter speed limits.

Can we get coverage on three-wheel vehicles? I'd like to see something on the Polaris Slingshot when it comes out.

I just test drove a Spyder. I want a ST Limited. After my MC accident I feel more comfortable on a Spyder than on a motorcycle.

To each his own. I haven't driven the A3 so I can't comment on it versus the CLA. When I was shopping for the CLA I tried to test drive an A4 (before the A3 came out) and was turned off by the Audi dealer. I came in with my cane (recent MC accident) and the guy said he was with a customer and would be right with me.

Dog like the CLA? Have you driven one? I own one and it is no dog.

Neutral: You Down With GDP?

While stop-start is sort of a stop-gap measure, and can be kind of annoying if you're not used to it, I don't think most 200 buyers will care that much and the fuel savings are real, if small.

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree.

2. They're adding that stick-on infotainment screen everyone seems to hate, except for actual Mercedes owners.

I took my V6 Challenger to the strip a couple of times. I think my best time was 15.6 secs. It doesn't really matter what you drive, it's the experience that counts. It was fun and nobody looked down on you for a poor time. I think I might take my MB CLA250 to the track this year. It will allegedly do 0-6 in 6.8 secs

As an owner of a CLA250, I can attest that you get used to the gear shifter.

I drove a CLA250 today. First I had to find the damn thing because it was hidden behind the steering wheel spoke. Then I kept hitting it when I wanted to turn the windshield wipers on and pushing the car into neutral. Now a regular column shift like you get on a truck of Crown Vic would be fine, but the CLA's is small

I must have gotten a different car. My CLA is fun to drive, has pretty decent power for the price and I'm really not bothered by the alleged poor build quality. My last car was a Cadillac ATS 2.5L. It had a slightly nicer interior and better ride, but less power and worse electronics. For the same price as my ATS I

I have a CLA250 and like it just fine. It is nothing like a Honda Civic or Accord, for that matter.

The last time I was in London I stayed in Belgravia and it amazed me how many cool cars there were just parked on the street, among them what I think was an Aston-Martin DB6 and a McLaren MP4-12c. BMWs and Mercedes sedans were the norm.

As for the whole booth babe thing, I think they serve two purposes. 1) They draw you into the booth and 2) They can answer questions. They don't seem to know anything about cars (emphasis on the plural) but they always seem to be well versed about the specific car they are hawking. I spoke to one at a show and she

I was badgered by my parents into buying a home (actually a condo.) Worst thing I ever did since I now own a home that is worth $25,000 less than I paid for it with no hope of getting above water anytime soon. I guess the only positive thing is the mortgage interest deduction and that I was able to get a HARP loan to
