I spent a few years in Lubbock, Texas, not a large city but it had at least one dealership for all the non-luxury brands. None of the dealerships in town put window stickers in the cars. This is terrible advice. He should order the drink from the bar and leave a tip with the bar tender he feels comfortable with. (10% is $25 and no bar tender is ever going to balk at a $25 tip on one drink). Then order dinner at the table and tip the customary 15-20%.
