My father just bought a Tesla. He went to the mall, where a very nice looking young lady went thru all the options, colors, etc with him. He designed the car he wanted. A nice man delivered the exact car he designed to his driveway 5 days later.

While I completely agree with you, I’m going to spend the rest of my life dreaming of the space sociopath Howerton version of the Marvel Universe.

I would argue it’s a net negative that an episode of Community, a show Glover stared in, has been removed from virtually all platforms bc it shows a person of color, painting his face black, to play a fictional character called a dark elf. I’m not pro black face or rape jokes but I do think we should have room for

Why is she right to take him to task? Has she been victimized? Does she speak for all victims?

I spent a few years in Lubbock, Texas, not a large city but it had at least one dealership for all the non-luxury brands. None of the dealerships in town put window stickers in the cars. You had to ask a salesperson who then consulted a list and told you a price. I felt like I was in a dream world trying to buy a car.

Any explanation why the car would start without the key fob?

Are Peacocks subscriptions numbers available anywhere? I don’t personally know a single person who subscribe to peacock.

Bc you don’t know how to do it, or bc you sit in your car for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come do it for you?

Just bc you know 2 people with face/neck tattoos who have good jobs doesn’t make it a good idea to get a face or neck tattoo. It’s also perfectly reasonable for someone who hires people to think, you knowingly, permanently, had ink drawn on your face and that type of decision making is going to exclude you from this

Fisher also says that the studio insisted he have a catchphrase in the film—“booyah!”—while his cast members did not, and he likened it to the long cinematic tradition of shoveling the role of comedic relief onto Black actors and characters. “It seemed weird to have the only Black character say that,” he said.”

I don’t want to defend Whedon, it seems everyone agrees he is a grade a asshole.

I’ve booked trips with travel agents and I’ve done it myself, pro and cons on both sides. What I don’t need is laws telling me I have to book thru a travel agent.

Yeah me Jo Average is just going to walk into a dealership and haggle them down and cut into the dealerships profit. You are a complete moron. I don’t want to haggle, I don’t want to shop around. If an ad says 29,999.99 I want to log in online and order a vehicle that cost 29,999.99 then go about my life.

It’s not that hard to amend the constitution. It’s not like the queen is important in the day to day or even year to year management of the government. Literally everything she does in/for the government could be done by a generic ombudsman.

And the fender bender was the direct result of domestic violence being committed against him. Imagine the genders reversed and a man chasing his wife outside with a golf club smashing out the windows in her car as she tried to escape causing her to crash and injure herself.

My fun to me Titanic story. My Great grandfather Jack Dawson born in Wisconsin (not the same city as the Leo’s character) knocked up my great grandmother in 1910. He left to go “work on the railroad” in 1911 and was never seen or heard from again.

I’m not going to see this in a theater ever. I would pay $9.99 today to be able to watch it this weekend. I doubt I’m alone.

Now playing

I have found this to be the perfect way to make bake potatoes. People literally ask me to bring them to party’s and it’s absolutely nothing special or difficult.

This is terrible advice. He should order the drink from the bar and leave a tip with the bar tender he feels comfortable with. (10% is $25 and no bar tender is ever going to balk at a $25 tip on one drink). Then order dinner at the table and tip the customary 15-20%.

This is a fair, reasonable and honest position to take but it’s also reasonable to want to invest in what you know.
