What makes you think you won’t be able to travel anywhere you want with an autonomous vehicle? I’d argue you’d have more freedom of travel. Get off work Friday, get in the back seat and go to sleep, wake up 8-10 hours later at the beach. Hope back in the car Sunday evening, go to sleep, wake up at work Monday morning. 

Pay them a decent wage and they will show up. I thought we were capitalist. If the amount you pay doesn’t induce your employees to show up you are not paying enough. 

My company pays me well. When they call, I answer. If your employees no show it’s bc they don’t have anything to lose if you fire them. That’s on the company. 

So for nearly double the price you can get a car that is fractionally better in a couple of measurements.
