I’m certainly not someone who would be accused of being very pro-cop (spent too much time as a defense lawyer) and it happening once is once to many but even that scenario is extremely rare.

Maybe in comparison to other cops but overall the numbers are extremely low. Only like 25% of officers will ever fire their gun on duty and they fire their guns more often than they are fired at. (That’s how we end up with unarmed dead men)

It seems like a lot of our language around sex could use much more nuance. It’s kinda strange to me that when someone holdS someone at gun point and rapes them we call it sexual assault but when someone jogging by slaps a fully dressed woman on the butt we also call that sexual assault.

James Bond is a fictional character. This is a real human that the movie is accusing of violating one of the key tenants of her profession.

Tesla is an autopilot it is not self driving.

What are you calling a high rate? Despite what you see on the news we don’t have very many police gun battles in our country.

I’ve said this before:

Yeah we can blame Tesla for this but in reality one of the most dangerous places a cop or firefighter can find themselves is on a hwy after a crash.

Depends on the location you are traveling too. Going somewhere like Lake Tahoe you gotta bring winter clothes for skiing, summer closes for swimming and a nice outfit for a dinner out. A single ski jacket and pants will fill most of a carry on suitcase.

Right that’s the damn issue. What if I just went online selected the make, model, color and options then the company just delivered me the car I want.

Funny enough that’s exactly the reason my wife gave for wanting an SUV. She was in stopped traffic when an F250 came over the hill and crushed her civic into the car in front of her. She said I don’t ever want to be stuck in a small car like that again. 

I think you are implying that the audience at the Republican National Convention were Nazis and well we agree on that. 

Yeah the 5th wheel is the perfect application bc it can use the battery power for so many additional uses once you reach your destination and many camp grounds where a 5th wheel could reasonable go will also have electricity you can use to recharge for the ride home. 

Yeah I spent some time in the grocery logistics business and we rarely (see never in my experience) got anywhere near the max weight loads with completely full trailers. Depending on battery cost and adoption rates I could see an idea like this saving lots of money in similar industries.  

These seems like a pretty good idea especially with big rigs. They have plenty of space underneath to carry the batteries so you wouldn’t lose any payload capacity.  

I’m saying if you tell jokes to Nazis and they love your jokes you just might be a Nazi yourself. It’s like when David Duke of the KKK says you’re the best president ever. We can learn a lot about a person from the people who support them. 

I like the way you think! Just bc the Nazi’s laugh the hardest at my jokes doesn’t make me a Nazi comedian. I can’t control the audience’s I speak to and I certainly can’t correct an audience who is misunderstanding me.
