I am a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE minivan hater. They are practical, but pretty much the worst driving vehicles on the road.

I’m still upset you guys followed by the embargo after writing this.
I actually went with a x5, but my wife has been looking at a x3 or a 535i.
Strange- I’ve shopped between the models at least 10 times in the last few years and every time I go between the two models I immediately notice the additional rear leg room. Maybe I’ll check again when I’m at CarMax this weekend.
Like I said, I know the specs are similar, but go sit in both of them back to back. The 5er has way more room.
In total volume yes they’re similar, but measure the distance between the front of the back seats and the front seats. The 5er has way more room available for adults. There’s 6"+ of additional wheel base room between the two models.
We only had that many adults in there when we had 3 couples going to an event together. We sold the van a while back, it was rather disappointing (although it really is the only small van available).
Yep the new Highlander Hybrid with captain’s chairs in the 2nd row is pretty awesome for a family.
The only issue I had with our Mazda5 was you cannot load it up with 6 adults. The rear suspension just cannot hold that much weight and it bottoms out on bumps in the road.
A 5-series is a much better choice for the rear leg room.
I’m sure running style and how hard each runner impacts the ground plays a role in shoe durability.
Don’t forget Mercedes silver/gray.
slow the fuck down
Agreed- I only got 250-300 out of my Asics. I’m hoping my new Nikes will last longer.
I agree that his post was a little over the top, but some of that is definitely needed.
I work in IT and I’ve been tested at every company I’ve worked for (including my current job).
and havent had any complaints, not even from lovers
It’s really nice in places you’re holding the brake a lot - drive thru, lots of red lights, etc...
Counterpoint: Jason have you actually driven a modern minivan? They drive like booty.
