The problem was it wasn’t particularly sporty or fuel efficient.

I looked at the Pathfinder and was impressed with the 3rd row space and accessibility. I ended up going with a x5 diesel (also with a 3rd row), but I have recommended the Pathfinder to several people.
Better ride? Are you serious?
But unfortunately all of the x-TEC names of that period just seemed like they were riding VTEC’s coat tails. Still a better name than Earth Dreams though!
Because you don’t want the baggage handlers handling delicate things, or stealing your electronics. We always carry those items on with us, regardless if there’s room left in our checked bags.
Who says they can’t be locked while inside the storage compartment?
This is completely false in my area, and the law varies WIDELY by which state you’re in.
I have a diesel x5 and I love it!
It’s not a big deal. It’s happened many times before, and will likely happen many times again.
A $1 raise (from $28.69 to less than $30) after 8 years of stagnant raises is not what I would consider a raise or being in demand. That’s not even keeping up with inflation.
I’m not saying they’re overpaid, the market is. That’s why the UAW has been dropping their rates and implemented the 2-tier system to begin with to keep building cars in the USA (like the Cruze assembly line when it started).
Even without comparing the pay of other industries (which you can see UAW workers are grossly overpaid), the pay is high when compared to jobs of similar education levels.
Are you saying $25/hour is “scraps from the master’s table”? If so, you need a reality check to see what equal jobs in other industries make (hint- it’s FAR less).
Yes but that’s not comparable. You guys pay much more in taxes on your fuel (although that doesn’t account for 100% of the cost increase).
$1.99? Wow you have it made. Gas prices here in the MidWest suck.
I rebuilt one 2 years ago, it was a blast when I finally got it all working.
Tesla estimates the price of a base Model X to cost about $25,000 less, but even then, you’re starting at over $100,000.
Agreed, I seem to recall the X was supposed to be below the S in price, and the 3 below both.
Penske trucks are significantly (10-20 years) newer than Uhaul, and they’re usually much cheaper too.
