I test drove both, and much prefered the XE. The C-class interior seemed poorly designed to me: it looks like it has a cheap tablet bolted to the dashboard, and there are several different ways to activate any function (steering wheel, 2 ways on the centre console and buttons). I’d rather they’d made their minds up…
